Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues across molding, lining, and palletizing equipment.
  • •Perform electrical maintenance and preventive work on controllers, PLCs, and related electrical/mechanical equipment.
  • •Verify, repair, or replace e-stop and interlock functions on all equipment.
  • •Read schematics, wire/rewire as needed, update one-line drawings, and verify Arc Flash and NRC electrical panel ratings.
  • •Follow safety procedures (including Hot Work, Confined Space, LOTO, and Electrical Safety) and complete/document work orders.

Key Requirements

  • •Troubleshoot electrical issues on presses and blenders, including controllers, switches, proximity switches, heaters, thermocouples, pumps, clamps, and safety devices.
  • •Troubleshoot electrical issues in lining and palletizing equipment such as feed eyes, elevator wiring, camera power supply, glue sensors, and Alan Bradley systems.
  • •Perform miscellaneous electrical troubleshooting including voltage verification, wiring/rewiring, fuses/circuit breakers, drives, encoders, sensors, breakers, switches, motors, and e-stops/interlocks.
  • •Fabricate electrical and mechanical equipment, perform controller PM/calibration, and maintain programmable logic controllers, relays, contactors, and motor starters.
  • •Read schematics and wire/rewire as needed, verify Arc Flash and NRC ratings, identify Arc Flash boundaries, and assist with LOTO requirements while verifying no current with an approved Fluke meter.
