Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary technical interface to manufacturing partners, driving Operational Excellence and Factory Excellence (capability, efficiency, security, sustainability).
  • •Lead daily manufacturing support for products and tools at manufacturing sites, including NPI launch support and sustaining product governance.
  • •Support product transfers between manufacturing sites and analyze data/programs for quality and process control.
  • •Drive process optimization, yield improvements, and process consistency, and provide technical support for systemic defects, line stops, material purges, and quality issues.
  • •Govern ECO and deviation implementation, validate SoP documents and SPC specifications during phase gates, conduct factory process audits, and provide oversight during critical production stages while partnering with Product Operations.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a BS/MS in IE/EE/ME with 5+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing industry and quality systems.
  • •Strong manufacturing process knowledge, including SMT and PCBA operations, plus Wave Soldering, Press Fit, Mechanical Assembly, and quality process improvement analysis tools.
  • •Proficient with statistical methods and quality tools used in manufacturing (SPC, DOEs, 8Ds, DMAIC, AQL).
  • •Experience documenting issues with critical thinking and following up on root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • •Strong written and verbal English communication to synthesize complex situations for internal and external partners.
