Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement a national strategy for geotechnical, laboratory information management systems (LIMS), and contaminated land data management.
  • •Lead the development and optimisation of enterprise-scale geotechnical and environmental databases and digital workflows.
  • •Drive innovation using digital ground models, cloud-based solutions, AI-enabled data interrogation, advanced analytics, and automated reporting.
  • •Establish data governance frameworks, quality assurance protocols, and national standards for data management.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, GIS, Computer Science, Data Management, or related discipline.
  • •Significant experience in geotechnical, environmental, geological, or related data management roles.
  • •Experience designing, implementing, and managing geotechnical and environmental databases and digital field systems.
  • •Strong understanding of geotechnical investigations, contaminated land assessment, and environmental monitoring workflows.
  • •Experience leading complex projects and multidisciplinary teams at a regional or national level.
