Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform respiratory care procedures per established policies and under direction when required.
  • •Operate autonomously when assigned, using critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • •Monitor patient responses, modify therapies based on clinical/physiologic assessments, and manage mechanical ventilator support.
  • •Develop/modify respiratory care plans and therapeutic goals for cardiopulmonary patients and assist during cardiac/respiratory arrest situations as requested.
  • •Maintain quality and safety standards (infection control, clinical audits), document all interventions, and ensure proper maintenance/troubleshooting of respiratory care equipment.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy.
  • •Valid ACLS/PALS certification.
  • •1+ years as a respiratory therapist with critical care experience.
  • •Independently or under supervision, perform respiratory therapy interventions in the patient’s best interest.
  • •Complete and maintain regulatory requirements, including licensure/certification and mandatory training within required time frames.
