Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the daily operation and strategic development of the Secondary School library.
  • •Create a learning environment that supports research, study, collaboration, and independent learning.
  • •Teach research, information literacy, referencing, citation, and source-evaluation skills.
  • •Support DP students with the Extended Essay, internal assessments, and other research-based assignments.
  • •Maintain and develop collections and manage library systems, cataloguing, circulation, subscriptions, purchasing, and stocktaking.

Key Requirements

  • •A recognised library, information-management, or teaching qualification is preferred.
  • •Previous experience working in a secondary school, international school, university, or academic library.
  • •Experience supporting IB MYP and/or DP students is strongly preferred.
  • •Knowledge of the Extended Essay and IB academic-integrity expectations is desirable.
  • •Experience using library-management systems, research databases, and digital learning resources.
