Job Summary

Serve as a customer-facing presales subject-matter expert for HP Workstations’ advanced compute portfolio, translating enterprise workloads into right-sized GPU and edge-to-cloud architectures. Lead technical discovery and deliver workshops, demos, and PoCs to validate AI inference acceleration, simulation/visualization, and digital twin enablement. Perform performance modeling, benchmarking, tuning across Linux/Windows, and create scalable reference architectures and field playbooks while partnering across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Alliances.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead enterprise discovery to understand workloads, success criteria, constraints, and deployment environments.
•Deliver technical workshops, whiteboard sessions, and demos focused on AI acceleration and advanced workstation workflows.
•Design end-to-end architectures integrating GPU compute, storage, networking, and edge-to-cloud orchestration where applicable.
•Build and run PoCs in customer environments by defining test plans, executing experiments, benchmarking, and documenting results.
•Create and maintain reference architectures, deployment guides, and playbooks while partnering with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Alliance teams to feed field insights into roadmap priorities.

Key Requirements

•5+ years in presales engineering, solution architecture, advanced computing, GPU systems, workstation architecture, and/or edge AI platforms.
•Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent practical experience) in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
•Strong Linux and Windows troubleshooting and performance-tuning skills for workstation-class systems.
•Ability to build and execute PoCs by defining test plans, running benchmarks, interpreting results, and communicating tradeoffs.
•Excellent communication skills to present to both technical and executive audiences.
