Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake numerical analysis using computer-based programmes for potable, surface, and wastewater systems.
  • •Carry out technical and feasibility studies to appraise alternative solutions for water systems and attenuation requirements.
  • •Produce designs of water infrastructure including pump systems and pipe networks, including safety in design risk assessment documentation.
  • •Create sketches, models, and consolidated working drawings.
  • •Work with the team on technical work and site work, while keeping up to date with regulatory legislation and guidelines impacting design.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with a 2:1 classification (or equivalent).
  • •An MEng in Civil, Structural, or a Water Engineering-related MSc would be an advantage.
  • •Water-related modules and relevant work experience are advantageous.
  • •Basic computer skills (Word/Excel) and good report writing skills are essential.
  • •Willingness and ability to work towards professional qualifications such as ICE & CIWEM; demonstrable interest in water projects.
