Lead a residential solar installation crew to complete projects safely and efficiently. Review inventory, assemble solar components and racking, apply weather sealing, and ensure a clean job site. Guide fellow installers daily, provide leadership and technical support, and assist with solar battery installations when assigned. May act as foreperson in their absence, participate in mandatory training, and consistently meet deadlines and safety expectations.

Key Responsibilities

•Work as part of a solar installation crew to complete residential solar installation projects.
•Review inventory at the loading dock to ensure the assigned crew truck is stocked adequately.
•Layout and assemble solar modules, mounts, and electrical equipment; apply weather sealing and assemble racking and support structures per the project plan.
•Ensure personal, crew, and job site safety at all times; lead safe, effective, and efficient installations.
•Provide leadership and technical support to fellow crew members; may act as acting foreperson in forepersons’ absence and assist with solar battery installations when assigned.

Travel: Low travel

Salary: USD 27.6 - 36.8 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Previous solar installation experience required (construction or military experience may be considered).
•Must be 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and maintain a clean driving record to pass a driving background check.
•Adhere to company safety policies, including identifying/reporting hazards and encouraging others to work safely.
•Ability to lead teams effectively—build relationships and rapport, meet deadlines/metrics, and troubleshoot problems in a timely and effective manner.
