Job Summary

Assist the Category Manager with weekly supplier price quotations, allocation proposals, and competitive retail audits. Create daily/weekly reporting on availability, shrinkage, and sales to support category insights. Help plan and activate promotional campaigns in the internal promo tool, visit central markets for seasonal items, and monitor freshness in tMart stores. Coordinate with demand planners and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and complete related admin and follow-up tasks.

Key Responsibilities

•Collect weekly price quotations from produce suppliers and compile data to propose item allocations based on cost and supplier service levels.
•Conduct retail audits of competition and generate daily/weekly reporting on availability, shrinkage, and sales for category insights.
•Set up, launch, and activate promotional campaigns using the internal promo tool.
•Visit central markets to identify new seasonal items and decide on item selection; monitor freshness and quality at tMart stores.
•Coordinate with demand planners and suppliers for timely delivery of fresh food products, including supplier follow-ups and admin updates (e.g., price/rank changes).

Key Requirements

•3+ years of experience in developing and managing ultra-fresh categories for large retailers (FMCG) in an international setting.
•Technical ultra-fresh food knowledge to provide accurate category information.
•Commercial knowledge including profitability, margin calculations, feasibility, and benchmarking.
•Detail-oriented, structured approach with the ability to prioritize and deliver solutions.
•Experience with supplier and category-related coordination in a fast-paced retail environment.
