Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess transactions and create deal strategies with business customers and internal stakeholders to determine risks and execution plans
  • •Draft and/or redline contracts to protect Capital One from risk using industry best practices
  • •Negotiate effectively with suppliers, planning and executing negotiation strategy in line with contracting standards and business objectives
  • •Manage transactions independently as the central point of contact, driving deals to completion according to business and Legal/ESM timelines
  • •Serve as a subject matter expert on contract and third-party management policies and advise internal stakeholders to minimize risk

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Law
  • •At least 5 years of experience in contract drafting, evaluation, negotiation, and execution
