Job Summary

Lead a team of Vehicle Inspectors by overseeing daily inspection quality and productivity, including hands-on inspections as needed. Manage inspections operations using vehicle inspection metrics, WIP pipeline, and performance dashboards to hit KPIs and customer SLAs. Coordinate scheduling for volume fluctuations, handle PTO/timecards, and lead onboarding and safety compliance. May also support arbitration by applying NAAA and ADESA guidelines and negotiating outcomes to minimize auction loss.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee day-to-day activities of assigned Vehicle Inspectors and ensure adherence to systems, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
•Participate in performance management, identifying strengths/weaknesses, addressing issues, and escalating concerns.
•Monitor and act on WIP pipeline, inspection metrics, and inspector performance dashboards to meet KPIs, customer SLAs, and volume fluctuations.
•Schedule the team for volume fluctuations; review and approve/deny PTO requests and timecards; recommend cost-effective solutions.
•Oversee onboarding and training for new team members and ensure safety compliance during all lot movements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 20 - 22 hourly

Key Requirements

•Minimum 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience and 3–5 years of inspections-related experience.
•Leadership experience managing direct reports and holding team members accountable.
•Proficiency using computer systems and inspection tools including desktop/handheld devices, OBD scanners, and paint meters.
•Must be 18+ and have a valid driver’s license that meets requirements.
•Able to safely drive a variety of vehicle makes, models, and sizes.
