Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide proactive leadership for the design, implementation, and administration of highway/civil engineering projects within the organization.
  • •Lead the most complex highway/civil projects, managing budgets, hours and expenses, and supervising subcontractors and staff.
  • •Drive pursuit and development of infrastructure work across eastern New York State and oversee contract negotiations and presentations.
  • •Lead technical aspects of project scoping, pricing, and performance metrics for the engineering discipline.
  • •Advance long-term strategy, growth, and pipeline development for highway/civil work while ensuring project profitability and compliance with laws and regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • •12+ years of post-education experience in highway/civil engineering and infrastructure design
  • •New York State Professional Engineer license (multi-state preferred)
  • •Advanced proficiency with highway/civil engineering principles, practices, design/build, and permitting
  • •Ability to manage multiple large-scale highway/civil programs and lead staff through change
