Job Summary

Lead end-to-end cost management for data centre construction projects from initiation to completion. Own strategic planning, governance, cost reporting, estimating and cost plans, and deliver monthly post-contract cost reports to clients. Provide line management for cost teams, facilitate stakeholder engagement across clients and contractors, drive value engineering and life cycle costing, and support business development through proposals and market engagement.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the delivery of cost management services for construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring quality and budget targets are met.
•Provide line management for cost managers and team members, including resource planning, coaching, performance reviews, and interviewing for open roles.
•Act as the day-to-day key client interface and lead multidisciplinary project teams with structured reporting and documentation.
•Develop cost benchmarks and reporting structures; manage estimating and cost planning, produce monthly post-contract cost reports, and lead value engineering and life cycle costing.
•Manage budgets and financial performance, lead commercial negotiations and contract administration, oversee risk procedures and invoicing using D-365.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
•Minimum 10 years’ experience in cost management or construction projects, including roles such as cost manager, construction manager, procurement, or project manager.
•Strong communication and leadership skills, including people management experience.
•Strong business acumen with the ability to drive client outcomes, develop new business, and coordinate with construction and design teams.
•Experience in client-facing environments using advisory skills for value management, value engineering, and life cycle costing.
