Key Responsibilities

  • •Performs close-related ledger tasks, e.g., accruals, provisions, reconciliations and journal postings.
  • •Prepare ledger reports and other reports including those required by Group and regulators; perform analysis of the results.
  • •Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accounting, finance-related activities, processes and procedures are followed and completed.
  • •Enhances business decision making and supports development and execution of business strategy and other initiatives through robust data, accurate detailed financial analysis, insight and other relevant activities.
  • •Provides regular support as a subject matter expert to projects and internal initiatives by providing know-how and expertise in required areas.

Key Requirements

  • •A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
  • •Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or ACCA (Association of Chartered Accountants) is preferred.
  • •2 plus years of working experience in accounting or finance within the financial services industry. Preferably candidate with background in insurance or takaful industry.
