Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and evaluate welding procedures; select base and welding materials.
  • •Assist with tooling and fixturing designs for welding operations.
  • •Control production weld quality and utilize welding codes and standards.
  • •Provide personnel management and supervision, including mentorship of junior welders, and support the hiring process.
  • •Plan and schedule work, assign tasks, assess completed work, monitor timekeeping, review and maintain documentation, and enforce site and personnel safety.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • •5+ years of professional experience in one or more welding methods including GTAW, FCAW, TIG, or GMAW.
  • •2+ years of experience leading a team or a project.
  • •Ability to interpret drawings and weld symbols per AWS A2.4.
  • •Knowledge of AWS D1.1, D1.6, and D1.2.
