Job Summary

Maintain and repair automated and non-automated production equipment, tools, and machinery. Diagnose malfunctions, determine repairs, and complete troubleshooting to ensure safe, timely operation. Install and test equipment and electrical components, perform preventative maintenance and general repairs, and use hand and power tools (including welding, torching, and light machining) while keeping the work area clean and orderly.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform preventative maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical production equipment and special purpose machines
•Operate hand and power tools to repair, grease, change parts, and complete assigned tasks
•Test and troubleshoot malfunctioning machinery, determine repairs, and ensure safe, timely operation
•Install equipment and/or electrical components and test to ensure proper functioning
•Perform general repairs and preventative maintenance to plant structures, including welding/torch work and light machining as required

Key Requirements

•Technical or vocational school certification or equivalent in training or experience
