Job Summary

Developer Advocate within OpenAI's Developer Experience team, building high-quality samples, content, and tools to help developers integrate OpenAI APIs. You will engage with the developer community, gather feedback, and collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing to drive adoption of AI models and developer surfaces.

Key Responsibilities

•Create and curate high-quality technical content, tutorials, blog posts, videos, and code samples to educate and inspire developers.
•Engage with the developer community, building strong relationships and fostering a vibrant ecosystem around OpenAI’s technologies.
•Be a tireless champion for developers and their needs, gathering and organizing their feedback to inform our product roadmap.
•Build relationships with key developers and help nurture a community of developers on our platform, representing OpenAI at developer events and online forums, serving as a knowledgeable and approachable ambassador for our platform.
•Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to drive adoption and success of OpenAI’s APIs and developer tools.

Key Requirements

•Strong full-stack engineering background with AI and LLMs.
•Proven track record of engaging with developers to help them find success with API-based products, and building developer communities.
•Deep user empathy and understanding of what’s required for a great product experience.
•Creativity and passion for exploring new ways to connect with and empower developers.
•Pride in crafting delightful developer tools and high-quality demos and sample projects.
