Job Summary

Own end-to-end IT operations and mature the company’s security program for a distributed, remote-first workforce. You’ll drive device lifecycle, MDM, identity and access management, and automation for onboarding/offboarding, while defining security policies and compliance posture across SOC 2, GDPR, and ISO 27001. Partner cross-functionally, consolidate tools and vendors, leverage AI for automation and threat detection, and track IT/security health metrics to surface risk early.

Key Responsibilities

•Own IT operations end-to-end, including device lifecycle, MDM, identity and access management, onboarding/offboarding automation, and enterprise SaaS tooling.
•Build and mature the security program by defining policies, owning compliance posture across SOC 2, GDPR, and ISO 27001, leading audits, and establishing scalable controls.
•Reduce manual toil by building automation, runbooks, and SOPs to run a lean function at scale.
•Leverage AI tools across IT and security operations for workflow automation, threat detection, and policy drafting.
•Partner with Engineering, People, Legal, and Finance to embed security and IT best practices into how the company builds, hires, and operates, and manage vendor/license and tool consolidation.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of IT and security experience, with at least 2 years owning IT and security operations at a SaaS startup of 100–500 people.
•Experience building IT operations infrastructure from scratch in a limited-resources environment.
•Hands-on experience with cloud-first tooling such as JumpCloud and Google Workspace, plus a modern SaaS security stack.
•Working knowledge of compliance frameworks including SOC 2, GDPR, and ISO 27001, with experience through at least one audit cycle.
•Demonstrated use of AI tools in daily work for automation, analysis, drafting, or operations.
