Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with the design and development of building electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, lighting controls, emergency/standby power, fire alarm, and low-voltage/special systems.
  • •Perform electrical engineering calculations such as electrical load calculations, voltage drop analyses, equipment sizing, feeder and conductor sizing, short-circuit studies, and coordination studies.
  • •Support preparation of construction drawings, specifications, reports, technical studies, and other project documentation.
  • •Develop engineering designs and construction documents using Revit, AutoCAD, and related software; assist with site investigations and construction administration.
  • •Review shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support project managers with coordination and execution tasks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • •1 to 3 years of relevant post-education experience in an electrical engineering capacity.
  • •Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and building systems design, including power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and fire alarm systems.
  • •Familiarity with applicable building codes, electrical codes, and industry standards.
