Drive failure analysis and materials characterization for the XBAT vehicle as part of the hardware reliability team. Operate and improve a world-class materials/failure investigation lab using SEM/EDS, x-ray/CT, optical microscopy, and cross-section preparation, and perform electronic failure analyses across metals, ceramics, polymers, and composites. Establish SOPs, report results to stakeholders, manage lab consumables, and coordinate with external labs to eliminate recurrence through corrective actions and design updates.
