Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement cost control procedures and systems to monitor expenditures and maintain budget adherence.
  • •Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to establish project budgets, cost forecasts, and expenditure plans.
  • •Conduct cost estimation and analysis for project components and expenses, identifying variances and cost-saving opportunities.
  • •Prepare and present regular cost reports to stakeholders, highlighting key financial metrics and performance indicators.
  • •Review invoices, evaluate change orders/variations for cost and timeline impact, and implement mitigation measures (including value engineering).

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years working experience with 5 years relevant experience in cost control/cost estimation for projects.
  • •Strong cost estimation and financial analysis skills to assess project components, materials, labor, and overheads.
  • •Proficiency with cost control tools such as Primavera or Procore, plus spreadsheets and database software for reporting and analysis.
  • •Knowledge of contract management, including reviewing contracts, change orders, and vendor agreements for compliance.
  • •ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills, to support cost reporting and control activities.
