Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect and build the bank’s core backend, including microservices, transactional persistence schemas, event messaging endpoints, and internal APIs documented for OCC examination.
  • •Design ledger and stablecoin reconciliation ensuring absolute consistency between fiat subledger/reserve accounts and on-chain token supply, including secure mint/burn synchronization.
  • •Serve as technical lead for the Core Backend team, setting standards for code review, testing, observability, and deployment appropriate for a regulated bank.
  • •Integrate automated sanctions screening connectors with auditable screening and case escalation hooks in the transaction path.
  • •Partner with SRE and Security on multi-region resilience, failover targets, real-time ledger alerting, IAM, key management interfaces, and threat modeling for mint/burn pipelines.

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years of software engineering experience and 5+ years hands-on architecting high-integrity transactional systems in banking, payments ledger, exchange, or settlement infrastructure.
  • •Deep expertise in event-driven architecture with exactly-once processing semantics, idempotency, and large-scale reconciliation.
  • •Hands-on cloud-native experience with Kubernetes, Infrastructure-as-Code, and multi-region deployment in regulated or audited environments.
  • •Experience designing immutable transaction logs, reconciliation controls, and automated evidence generation for examiners and external auditors.
  • •Proven ability to mentor senior engineers, set architectural standards, and own delivery end-to-end.
