Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to bridge and infrastructure inspection projects and serve as an Assistant Team Leader for bridge and sign structure inspections.
  • •Perform structural engineering tasks and field inspections, including support for bridge load ratings.
  • •Develop plans and sketches using Visio and MicroStation and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
  • •Assist with project research, field work, preliminary repair calculations, and structural analysis.
  • •Help prepare cost proposals and scope-of-work documents and collect, organize, and maintain project documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
  • •0 to 1 years of experience with bridge and/or ancillary structure inspection projects.
  • •Engineer-in-Training certification, or ability to obtain it within one year of hire.
  • •Proficient understanding of structural engineering principles and their application to project issues.
  • •Physical ability to perform continuous field work (including heights/confined spaces) and work schedules that may include night work, longer days, and weekends.
