Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate active incidents by opening communication channels, ensuring the right on-call engineers are available, and documenting the incident in real time.
  • •Assist with post-incident post-mortems and ensure action items are correctly logged in tracking tools.
  • •Help track recurring problems and follow up with engineering teams to ensure long-term fixes are progressing.
  • •Maintain incident documentation and runbooks, and support incident response tooling so it’s ready when an issue occurs.
  • •Assist with weekly/monthly incident metric gathering and draft clear stakeholder updates during and after incidents.

  • •Exposure to, or willingness to quickly learn, standard DevOps/SRE incident response tooling and workflows.
  • •Ability to follow technical instructions and assist engineers with basic diagnostic steps during incidents (e.g., checking logs, verifying service status).
  • •Comfort documenting incidents in real time and maintaining incident records for regulatory and compliance purposes.
  • •Experience using or willingness to work with ticketing and communication tools such as Jira and Slack during incident response.
