Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the subject-matter expert for retirement plan design, governance, and regulatory strategy across qualified and non-qualified plans.
  • •Oversee fiduciary responsibilities and ensure adherence to ERISA, IRS, and DOL requirements while maintaining internal controls.
  • •Provide administration and operational excellence for two 401(k) plans, evaluating effectiveness and recommending enhancements to reduce risk and optimize cost.
  • •Oversee the defined benefit pension plan, partnering with actuaries and legal counsel for valuations, filings, and governance.
  • •Lead retirement compliance and reporting, including the annual Form 5500 process, and coordinate implementation of annual IRS limits with payroll/HRIS (ADP EV6).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • •7+ years of progressive experience in retirement plan governance, pension administration, or benefits strategy.
  • •Deep expertise in ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations.
  • •Experience managing complex, union-influenced plan structures.
  • •Strong vendor management and contract oversight experience.
