Job Summary

Manage the organization’s retirement programs, including two 401(k) plans, a defined benefit pension, non-qualified deferred compensation (409A), and retiree health. Provide retirement governance and fiduciary oversight, guide plan design and risk mitigation, and lead compliance work such as the annual Form 5500 filing. Coordinate with executive leadership, legal counsel, vendors, payroll, and HRIS (ADP EV6) to ensure accurate, compliant administration and long-term plan sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the subject-matter expert for retirement plan design, governance, and regulatory strategy across qualified and non-qualified plans.
•Oversee fiduciary responsibilities and ensure adherence to ERISA, IRS, and DOL requirements while maintaining internal controls.
•Provide administration and operational excellence for two 401(k) plans, evaluating effectiveness and recommending enhancements to reduce risk and optimize cost.
•Oversee the defined benefit pension plan, partnering with actuaries and legal counsel for valuations, filings, and governance.
•Lead retirement compliance and reporting, including the annual Form 5500 process, and coordinate implementation of annual IRS limits with payroll/HRIS (ADP EV6).

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
•7+ years of progressive experience in retirement plan governance, pension administration, or benefits strategy.
•Deep expertise in ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations.
•Experience managing complex, union-influenced plan structures.
•Strong vendor management and contract oversight experience.
