Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to the design, specification, and integration of ITS systems across transportation and infrastructure projects.
  • •Prepare and review engineering documentation including technical reports, specifications, design criteria, datasheets, drawings, calculations, and scope documents.
  • •Support design and implementation of ITS systems such as CCTV, VMS, communications networks, fibre optic infrastructure, incident detection systems, and control systems.
  • •Coordinate interfaces between ITS, electrical, communications, civil, structural, and operational disciplines.
  • •Support testing, commissioning, operational readiness activities, estimates/work plans/schedules/resource planning, and mentor junior engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Mechatronics or related discipline).
  • •At least 8 years’ experience delivering ITS, transport technology, communications or infrastructure projects.
  • •Registered Professional Engineer with a recognised professional body.
  • •Demonstrated experience on major road, motorway, tunnel, rail or smart infrastructure projects and supporting multidisciplinary teams across design, construction and commissioning phases.
  • •Experience with ITS systems such as CCTV, variable message signs, incident detection, communications and fibre optic networks, and preparing engineering documentation and scopes of work.
