Key Responsibilities

  • •Repair and maintain customer and company-owned Pump, Power & HVAC equipment, diagnosing root causes and corrective actions using machine data.
  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals; order parts; and maintain daily paperwork/electronic documentation.
  • •Travel to customer job sites when required to perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations, and handle repairs; set up and operate equipment individually or with other technicians.
  • •Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts and help train lower-level technicians as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • •Ability to calculate nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and read/understand schematics.
  • •Must have superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred.
