Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
  • •Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment and mechanical issues.
  • •Install, repair, and/or fabricate new equipment and components as needed.
  • •Support Tier 1 & 2 operational processes through completion of action cards and rapid response activities.
  • •Support physical transformation and continuous improvement (GDP) initiatives throughout the facility.

Key Requirements

  • •Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Troy, IL will be considered (Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt).
  • •Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
  • •Ability to operate rigging equipment including nylon straps, wire braided chain slings, sheet stock handler, rail rack attachment, and spreader bars.
  • •Ability to wear a Fall protection body harness and lanyard.
  • •Troubleshooting PLC issues is included in the required safety and quality training.
