Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate and appraise highly complex auto physical damage claims for both repairable and total loss vehicles in accordance with contract terms, guidelines, and state laws.
  • •Investigate claim damages by communicating with the insured, internal claims adjusters, and third-party vendors, including possible face-to-face interactions.
  • •Review facts of loss, determine subrogation opportunities, and ensure all supporting physical damage documentation is complete in the claim file.
  • •Maintain accurate and current claim documentation, manage desk workflow, and support timely follow-ups to enable fast claims adjudication.
  • •Review additional damages from repair facilities to complete supplements or triage inspection; identify fraud indicators and escalate to the Special Investigations Unit when applicable.

Key Requirements

  • •2 years of auto appraising experience.
  • •Proficient knowledge of P&C insurance policy contracts and coverages, auto parts distribution processes, and claim appraisal procedures.
  • •Advanced working knowledge of estimating losses using CCC or similar estimating platforms.
  • •Acquire and maintain an insurance adjuster license within 90 days (3 attempts).
