Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct complex and high-priority investigations involving fraud, collusion, corporate policy violations, workplace violence, and other criminal matters within or against USAA.
  • •Interview/interrogate individuals and gather, analyze, and organize information and evidence to support investigative findings.
  • •Preserve evidence and present facts to substantiate or disprove allegations for employment and disposition decisions.
  • •Provide written and oral briefings of high-profile cases to management and executive leadership.
  • •Support incident management activities, pre-event planning, security assessments, and coordination with the USAA Executive Protection team, law enforcement, and venue security personnel.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree, or 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
  • •6+ years of relevant experience in corporate fraud investigations and risk mitigation, including interviewing skills (Federal, State, local, or Military Law Enforcement).
  • •Knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, Sarbanes Oxley Act of 2002, other applicable laws/regulations, and investigative best practices.
  • •Excellent communication skills across channels, collaborating with cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
  • •Ability and willingness to travel 25% of the time.
