Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Unit Manager to ensure a safe and positive client experience by mitigating clinical risks.
  • •Provide direct patient care and coordinate care delivery during night duty.
  • •Mentor new and student nurses in the unit to build competence through continuous assessment and development.
  • •Manage staffing resources to ensure optimal supply, retention, and utilization.
  • •Assist with operational expense management, including stock and capital, while meeting clinical documentation and audit expectations.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years’ Professional Nurse experience in a hospital.
  • •1 year experience mentoring/mentorship in a nursing context.
  • •Maintain comprehensive and safe patient care by mitigating clinical risks and meeting clinical quality standards.
  • •Knowledge of nursing processes and procedures, nursing record keeping, and how to develop/modify nursing care plans.
  • •Computer literacy (Microsoft Office) and ability to follow relevant nursing legislation, including infection prevention and control.
