Job Summary

Execute PPAP and component risk assessment activities for new projects and supplier parts, determining the required PPAP level and sending complete PPAP packages. Evaluate PPAP results against engineering drawings and Trane specifications (including mechanical and electrical tests), manage PPAP status and required entries in Windchill, and support NCM documentation, inspections, and audits. Collaborate with Supplier Quality Engineering and Operations/Engineering teams on troubleshooting, root-cause problem solving, and rework instructions.

Key Responsibilities

•Execute component risk assessments and determine the PPAP level requested for supplier parts across new PPAP tasks/projects.
•Notify suppliers and internal peers of PPAP level, send complete PPAP packages, and handle PPAP tasks in Windchill.
•Evaluate PPAP results against engineering drawings and Trane specifications, including dimensional and compliance checks and functional/electrical testing.
•Complete required Windchill updates (e.g., P-24) and identify critical features to support monthly reporting requests (CP and CPK) to suppliers.
•Perform inspections and audits (first piece, in-process, and final), maintain non-conforming material documentation, and support root-cause analysis and problem solving with Engineering/Production teams.
