Key Responsibilities

  • •Work from drawings, engineering specifications, and manufacturing information to complete assembly and wiring of control equipment.
  • •Prepare wire for assembly and route, assemble, wire, adjust, fit, and modify parts, components, and sub-assemblies.
  • •Check electrical/mechanical performance of completed assemblies to ensure conformance to Asheville Plant quality standards and make adjustments/alignment.
  • •Execute engineering and customer changes and make repairs as required.
  • •Maintain records as required and observe all safety and hygiene rules, keeping the work area neat and orderly.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 19.5 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Avery Creek, NC.
  • •Ability to lift 35 pounds (waist, shoulder, overhead) and perform frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, squatting, and ladder work for material handling.
  • •Able to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
  • •Proven history of safe work habits and ability to work effectively without direct supervision.
  • •Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Internet) and ability to work overtime (weekdays and weekends).
