Key Responsibilities

  • •Own key stablecoin-based money movement projects end-to-end as the Directly Responsible Individual, from system design through production deployment.
  • •Build backend systems, infrastructure, and internal/external APIs enabling embedded stablecoin-powered payments for businesses and partners.
  • •Partner with Product, Design, Infrastructure, and Compliance to translate requirements into robust, scalable solutions balancing speed, security, and regulatory needs.
  • •Execute performance, scalability, and reliability improvements across distributed systems, identifying bottlenecks and resolving issues before customer impact.
  • •Support engineering quality via code reviews, architectural best practices, and contributing to patterns that raise the technical bar.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of software engineering experience building and operating backend systems in fintech, payments, or crypto.
  • •Proficiency in backend languages (e.g., Go, Java) and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP), with hands-on experience designing distributed systems and APIs.
  • •Experience serving as the DRI for technical projects, delivering from system design through production deployment.
  • •Experience integrating with or building blockchain/crypto technologies such as stablecoins, on-chain payments, or smart contract platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, Base).
  • •Ability to write technical design documents and communicate architecture trade-offs to product and engineering stakeholders.
