Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform troubleshooting, tear-down, repair, refurbishment, overhaul, assembly, testing, and installation services for designated equipment.
  • •Assemble and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems, subsystems, and components, including test fixtures and engineering prototypes.
  • •Conduct equipment and component performance analyses and collect, extract, compile, and present engineering data and logistics support information.
  • •Complete equipment adjustment, testing, and certification processes, and install equipment, components, and modifications.
  • •Perform NAVAID antenna and component repair and overhaul, including circuit board testing and repair, and production/repair of electronic cables and wire harnesses.

Key Requirements

  • •Completion of formal technical training courses is required.
  • •For Engineering Technician III and higher, an associate degree in electrical or engineering technology is required.
  • •At least three years of experience in an engineering technician support position is required.
  • •Experience must include troubleshooting, repairing, assembling, testing, and installing electrical and mechanical systems and equipment, and assisting with engineering documentation/process updates.
