Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and evolve ClickHouse’s Python connector and SDK ecosystem, improving performance, reliability, and API design.
  • •Drive AI/LLM integration strategy for RAG architectures, ML feature pipelines, and LLM-powered data applications.
  • •Triaging issues and supporting contributors within the open-source community while shaping the roadmap from feedback.
  • •Collaborate with Product, Cloud, and other engineering teams to align integration work with platform priorities.
  • •Bring practitioner perspective to roadmap decisions grounded in Data Engineer and Data Scientist workflows.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of software development experience with hands-on Data Scientist or ML Engineer work.
  • •Hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining production-grade Python connectors/SDKs/integrations for major platforms.
  • •Experience applying AI/ML in production data-engineering contexts such as embedding generation, vector search, feature pipelines, or LLM-powered tooling.
  • •Strong Python data ecosystem experience including Pandas, NumPy, and Pydantic.
  • •Strong database fundamentals including SQL, data modeling, query optimization, and familiarity with OLAP/analytical databases.
