Security Software Engineer Project Intern (Security Assurance) - 2026 Start (BS/MS)

Join ByteDance’s security team to assess and strengthen the security posture of products, platforms, and internal systems. You’ll plan and run penetration tests and red-team operations, identify and document vulnerabilities across staging and production, and perform security reviews for new services and platform changes. The role also includes researching AI-specific attack techniques and applying AI to improve security operations through short, impactful projects.
