Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, coach, and develop an analytics engineering organization of approximately 30 people, including hiring, performance management, succession planning, and budget oversight.
  • •Define and execute a multi-year roadmap and measurable quarterly outcomes for enterprise reporting and analytics engineering, partnering with Product Management on end-to-end data strategy.
  • •Drive last-mile analytics engineering architecture with Data Engineering: semantic layers, curated marts, reusable data products, certified datasets, and governed metric definitions.
  • •Own data governance, metadata, and lineage workflows using tools such as Atlan, including column-level lineage and stewardship, plus access/entitlement models in collaboration with Security, Privacy, and Compliance.
  • •Advance proactive and AI-enabled analytics by partnering with Data Science and delivering LLM access, text-to-SQL, exception-based analytics, and analytic agents that monitor, investigate variances, and deliver insight.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years of progressive experience in data, analytics, or business intelligence, including 8+ years leading teams and 4+ years managing managers.
  • •Experience leading an organization of 25+ people in a large, matrixed enterprise.
  • •Strong hands-on foundation in SQL, dimensional modeling, and ELT/ETL design, with production experience on a modern cloud data warehouse or lakehouse (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, or Synapse) and dbt.
  • •Enterprise-scale experience with BI and data visualization platforms (e.g., Domo, Tableau, Power BI, Looker) including governance, provisioning, adoption, and cost management.
  • •Demonstrated ability to drive data governance across catalog, lineage, glossary, stewardship, quality, and access using tools such as Atlan, Collibra, Alation, or Informatica.
