Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with a multi-disciplined team to define work packages and technical requirements across complex services and capabilities.
  • •Define requirements, produce designs, and individually execute delivery of key work packages using systems engineering processes through the full lifecycle (waterfall and agile/SAFe).
  • •Act as technical liaison between engineering teams and supply chain partners to ensure technical specifications, standards, and integration requirements are understood.
  • •Carry out agreed operational procedures (logging, delegating, and quality assuring) and maintain relevant records and documentation, leading audits.
  • •Contribute to maintenance, installation, problem resolution, and improvement of system operation; support reviews, analysis, implementation, and delivery of advanced training environments and concepts.

Key Requirements

  • •Work in multi-disciplinary teams within a systems engineering environment.
  • •Knowledge of systems engineering process (ISO 15288) and system requirements/design documentation.
  • •Knowledge of the system engineering V-model lifecycles and processes.
  • •Write technical specifications and Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and apply systems engineering standards and techniques.
  • •Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and deploying/testing/troubleshooting training systems; ability to hold or be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC).
