Job Summary

Own probe strategy and silicon learning across the wafer-test lifecycle, from pre-silicon design-to-probe staging through first-silicon bring-up, qualification, and high-volume manufacturing. Define probe coverage intent, set silicon-grounded limits and guard-bands, and drive yield, quality, and test-cost outcomes. Location: Singapore
Workplace: Onsite
Employment Type: Full time
Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering
Seniority: Mid level

Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and own probe coverage intent by mapping design features, device behavior, and process risks into screening, observability, trims, and guard-bands.
  • •Establish, release, and sustain probe test flows across first silicon, qualification, and HVM while meeting coverage objectives without unnecessary overhead.
  • •Support pre-silicon design-to-probe staging and DFT readiness by influencing test hooks, observability, redundancy, and trim structures.
  • •Lead first-silicon bring-up and device characterization to correlate early silicon behavior with probe results, closing gaps and stabilizing the probe flow.
  • •Drive yield, quality, and reliability enablement using wafer-level learning, bin definitions, and failure-mode analysis; optimize test efficiency and enable AI-driven decision support.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Semiconductor Physics, or a related field.
  • •Strong fundamentals in semiconductor devices, wafer test, and product engineering.
  • •Use silicon behavior and characterization data to make informed probe, yield, and coverage decisions.
  • •Experience (or strong interest) in silicon learning, device behavior, yield mechanisms, DFT intent, or design-to-manufacturing integration.
  • •Strong analytical skills for structured root-cause analysis and effective cross-functional communication.
