Job Summary

Drive strategic capacity planning for global CDN and edge infrastructure, turning traffic and business forecasts into actionable build and fulfillment plans. Analyze demand trends, support onboarding and mass deployment for edge users, and coordinate cross-functionally across product, engineering, network, supply chain, and regional strategy teams. Partner with third-party providers and the commercial team to evaluate capability and cost competitiveness, and lead quarterly/annual planning cycles with clear capacity strategies and updates.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive strategic capacity planning initiatives for ByteDance’s global edge and CDN infrastructure, from forecast to execution.
•Analyze traffic growth trends, user demand, and business forecasts to synthesize future capacity needs at edge locations.
•Support TOB and TOC users’ onboarding and mass deployment with product and engineering teams to produce resource fulfillment plans.
•Partner with product, engineering, network, supply chain, and regional edge strategy teams to maintain a rolling build plan aligned with user growth and roadmap.
•Lead quarterly and annual planning cycles and present capacity strategies and updates to cross-functional leadership.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
•At least 3 years of experience in infrastructure capacity planning, technical program management, or large-scale deployment operations.
•Knowledge of IP networking, routing, server hardware, compute, and storage.
•Understanding of datacenter infrastructure, CDN or edge architecture, and global deployment strategies.
•Strong organizational and communication skills with experience aligning across cross-functional teams.
