Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and execute Mauritius strategy aligned with CEMEA priorities and monitor market dynamics, competition, and regulatory changes.
  • •Represent Visa with regulators, government bodies, media, and ecosystem stakeholders, including BoM engagement.
  • •Own full P&L management: budgets, revenue targets, account receivables, operating expenses, forecasts, and profitability KPIs.
  • •Drive client and ecosystem engagement by leading sales, new business development, complex commercial negotiations, and executive-level engagement.
  • •Expand acceptance by accelerating adoption of secure, frictionless digital payments and strengthening partnerships across the payments ecosystem.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years in payments, financial services, fintech, consulting, or related industries.
  • •Proven track record in senior leadership and managing strategic external relationships.
  • •Experience operating in Eastern Africa (Mauritius experience strongly preferred).
  • •Demonstrated success in complex commercial environments, competitive markets, and high-impact dealmaking.
