Build and scale Venmo’s cloud infrastructure to improve scalability and reliability, from designing and deploying software applications to architecting production systems. •Develop software infrastructure and build new features; design, develop, and deploy software applications.
•Architect seamless operation functionality for Venmo user-facing services and production systems.
•Manage infrastructure end-to-end across operations, automation, security, compliance, and release engineering while blending Cloud Engineering with SRE/DevOps.

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field, plus 3 years’ experience in the job offered or related occupation; alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years’ experience.
•Experience automating cloud infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
•Experience automating operational tasks by creating scripts in Python or Shell (or similar).
•Experience with monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
•Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for production deployments using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
