Job Summary

Advise on complex cross-border employment matters across the EMEA region for an EOR platform, partnering with Operations, Payroll, Mobility, Compliance, Sales, and Product. Lead global employment law advisory, manage legal risk across multiple jurisdictions, and work with external counsel on high-risk employee relations and litigation strategy. Provide legal leadership by mentoring junior legal professionals and building scalable legal playbooks, workflows, and GDPR/privacy compliance practices.

Key Responsibilities

•Advise internal stakeholders on complex employment law matters across the EMEA region throughout the employee lifecycle.
•Lead legal risk assessment for international hiring and Employer of Record operations, including immigration, benefits, and workforce mobility.
•Provide legal leadership by mentoring legal professionals, reviewing complex external advice, and serving as an escalation point.
•Develop scalable legal operations, including templates, automation, workflows, and best-practice legal playbooks.
•Advise on GDPR and privacy matters for employees, contractors, and customers, supporting compliance initiatives and audits.

Key Requirements

•Deep expertise in European employment law.
•Strong understanding of cross-border workforce compliance and the employee lifecycle.
•Experience handling complex employee relations matters and litigation strategy with external counsel.
•Experience negotiating sophisticated commercial agreements.
•Law Degree (LLB/JD) and bar membership/qualification in at least one European jurisdiction; fluency in English required.
