Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the technical lead for water and wastewater treatment services in Atlantic Canada, providing strategic direction, technical excellence, mentorship, and project leadership.
  • •Collaborate with WSP's national water and wastewater team and subject matter experts to deliver high-impact projects and share expertise across regions.
  • •Lead planning, design, and delivery of complex municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment projects from concept development through commissioning and operational support.
  • •Provide senior technical leadership for treatment process design, facility upgrades, optimization studies, and capital infrastructure programs.
  • •Direct multidisciplinary teams through project phases, review and approve technical reports and design deliverables, and support proposals and business development to grow the practice.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical or a related Engineering discipline.
  • •Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Canada with eligibility to practice in Nova Scotia.
  • •15+ years of progressive experience in the water and wastewater industry (10+ years considered with strong technical and leadership capabilities).
  • •Extensive experience leading planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater treatment facilities.
  • •Strong experience evaluating and optimizing treatment processes, plus planning for water and wastewater infrastructure.
