Key Responsibilities

  • •Wire, assemble, fit, and mount sub-assemblies, components, and fixed assemblies in electrical control equipment.
  • •Assemble panelboards and/or switchboards to customer specification using electrical drawings, manufacturing schematics, and work instructions.
  • •Perform assembly required for test preparation and final inspection, including electrical/mechanical integrity verification using established power checking procedures.
  • •Inspect and test finished products to maintain quality standards and ensure conformance with specifications and codes.
  • •Receive and put away materials, prepare products for shipment, and support Lean/5S improvements and safety practices.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum one year of experience in an assembly-related role using hand and/or power tools, or completion of a one-year Technical School diploma from an accredited institution.
  • •Ability to follow manufacturing drawings and instructions.
  • •Experience assembling electrical components to specification and using wiring diagrams/schematics and power flow to install correct wires.
  • •Experience using measuring tools, torque tolerance, and hardware assembly.
  • •Ability to lift 35 lbs. on a regular basis and work overtime as required.
