Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform preventative maintenance tasks on all dies, including fabricating shims, sharpening critical die details, and polishing.
  • •Fabricate/machine critical die detail replacements to OEM prints/specifications.
  • •Fabricate/machine precision fixtures/jigs and precision parts for machinery repairs and new product development.
  • •Troubleshoot die/press issues to resolve production problems.
  • •Support project tooling/fixture requests and continuous improvement activities.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years Tool & Die/Machinist experience.
  • •High school diploma or GED required.
  • •Proficiency using machining equipment including CNC Mill, CNC Lathe, manual mill/lathe, surface grinder, heat treat oven, and optical comparator.
  • •Proficiency in AutoCAD for part development and modifications to existing dies/parts.
  • •Proficiency in blue print reading and precision measuring devices; G code programming required.
