Job Summary

Graduate Quantity Surveyor/Employers Agent to join AECOM's cost management team on UK projects across sectors. You’ll engage in pre- and post-contract duties—from cost modelling and benchmarking to valuations and financial reporting—across local and international projects, with mentorship and chartership support. Hybrid work in Norwich/Cambridge, collaborating with clients, designers, and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Involved in all stages of a project from definition to building use, with responsibility and guidance to develop skills.
•Pre-Contract duties including cost modelling, cost planning, benchmarking, value and risk analysis, attending design team meetings, procurement tasks and managing tender processes, and compilation of contract documentation.
•Post-Contract duties including attendance at site progress meetings, completion of valuations, financial reporting, due diligence reporting, and review and management of change control procedures.
•Collaborate with a wide variety of clients and designers, working autonomously and as part of a team to deliver project outcomes.
•Participate in the Development Programme and Chartership support, with mentoring and on-the-job technical development.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (min 2:1 or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying (preferably RICS accredited)
•Effective decision making and strong verbal and written communication
•Proactive and driven approach to work and promoting success
•Ability to working in a team of diverse individuals to meet common objectives
•Buy-in to achieving deadlines set by Clients and Managers
