Job Summary

Lead the strategy, governance, design, implementation, and operational management of compensation, benefits, and payroll programs. Ensure Total Rewards are market-competitive, compliant with Indian legal and regulatory requirements, operationally efficient, and aligned to U.S. Bank’s global reward philosophy. Partner with senior leadership to support attraction, retention, engagement, and development of talent as the India GCC grows, and drive compensation delivery across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide strategic leadership and operational management of compensation, benefits, and payroll programs within USBIPL.
•Ensure Total Rewards programs are market competitive, compliant, operationally efficient, and aligned to U.S. Bank’s reward philosophy.
•Advise senior leadership and support attraction, retention, engagement, and development of talent during India GCC establishment and growth.
•Lead compensation strategy, design, governance, and delivery across Europe, including executive remuneration, incentives, job architecture, and salary structures.
•Maintain risk and compliance alignment through governance of related frameworks, policies, and procedures.

Key Requirements

•Degree (or equivalent), with consideration for candidates with exceptional experience without a degree qualification.
•Minimum 12 years’ experience in compensation, benefits, and payroll management, preferably in financial services.
•Demonstrable success designing, operating, and managing sales incentive plans.
•Practical knowledge of European compensation legal and regulatory topics applicable to credit institutions and investment firms.
•Experience developing, implementing, and managing risk and compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
