Key Responsibilities

  • •Work on assigned projects for electrical equipment and deliver technical solutions to customers.
  • •Perform complex, less conventional engineering assignments involving equipment/product design, testing, process studies, or research investigations.
  • •Troubleshoot and evaluate electrical distribution/control systems, including protective relays, power quality measurements, and related systems.
  • •Generate timely and accurate service reports covering work performed, product performance, and warranties.
  • •Maintain compliance with Eaton safety programs/policies and complete required background/drug screenings while traveling within the district/region.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED (or accredited trade school/training) plus at least 2 years of electrical or mechanical industry experience, or 5+ years evaluating and servicing electrical distribution/control systems.
  • •Ability to work in the US without corporate sponsorship now or in the future.
  • •Valid, current driver’s license and ability to obtain/maintain required qualifications (DOT non-CDL qualification if required).
  • •Knowledge of 3-phase power systems and low/medium/high-voltage electrical distribution equipment, with electrical safety practices.
  • •Experience troubleshooting and evaluating electrical distribution/control systems, including protective relays and power quality measurements.
